It is very difficult to manage slalom technique with a paddle which is more like a dumbbell - it will make a child only very exhausted will not bring the child any fun from doing sports.   That is why RAAB is coming to the market with new kayaking paddles especially designed for the youngest girls and boys Thanks to the most suitable materials, their right combinations and a new method of production, we have achieved a very low weight of the paddle leaf, while preserving high firmness   The inside structure of the leaf makes possible to produce a slim leaf with edges that have no outside solidifying ribcage on the in feed side and on the opposite side of the leaf.   The low weight of the leaves and their smaller area (c. 90% of the area of senior leaves) give young slalom racers the possibility of perfect mastering of correct and efficient gearing with effective transfer of power in high frequency.   The thinness of the leaf and sharpness of the edges make possible to insert easily in gearing, get through water very easily and perfectly manage the entire slalom technique. Especially the youngest children and also children who devote the maximum to the training effort appreciate the low weight of the leaf. The leaves with a smaller area are also suitable for younger category of juniors.   Technical parameters : The shell of the leaf is made from high-grade epoxy and carbon fibres or from a combination of carbon fibres and colored texalium. The inside structure of the leaf is made from special froth. The leaves have edges and are strengthened by carbon fibres. The feed side is covered with inside mountings from duralumin sheet about 1.5 mm thick. The leaves, made of combination of carbon and texalium, have the feed side made from colored texalium and the opposite side made from carbon fibres. We offer the texalium in gold, blue and titanium colors.
